Crusade Boi

Cleric, but with a big sword. Probably a shield for tank spec. Legally distinct from paladin, I swear. Need to give proper class identity. Kind of a crusader, really. Fanatic, aggressive, catholic. Maybe some desert themed things. A holy desert crusader.

 

Big CD: Deus Vult

• maybe not really a cd, but a buff to be maintained as best as possible
  
• little temporal variance in power level, so strong sustained damage
• requires slightly higher average damage than burst specs to compensate for lack of burst

Defensive:

• beefy, maybe by having an absorb shield built by damage => high EHP
• possibly tied to Deus Vult uptime
• would make spec very dependent on active time to maintain offensive and defensive power
• maybe make range spec have low range to make this matter for range spec as well

Movement: Some desert shit, check wind patterns in deserts

• Permanent? Would fit with other abilities
• Small boost, maybe activate for larger boost to make class very mobile
• High mobility would fit with focus on active time
